Wombats Room: preschool for 3–6 year olds

School readiness woven into every day, so big school feels like the next adventure, not a leap.

Ages 3–6 · Includes School Readiness Program

Ready for school, the play-based way

Our Wombats Room is where it all comes together. Degree-qualified early childhood teachers lead a preschool program that builds early literacy and numeracy, problem-solving, and the social-emotional skills children need to thrive at school, all through intentional, play-based learning.

  • School Readiness Program led by qualified early childhood teachers
  • Early literacy, numeracy and STEM exploration
  • Excursions, workshops and incursions: Healthy Harold visits, music shows, Henny Penny hatching
  • Leadership opportunities that build confidence and independence

What school readiness looks like here

Early literacy

Stories, songs, rhymes and mark-making every day, building the foundations of reading and writing long before formal lessons begin.

Early numeracy

Counting, patterns, measuring and problem-solving through cooking, building and games: maths as play, not pressure.

Social confidence

Turn-taking, teamwork, resilience and independence: the skills teachers say matter most on the first day of school.

"Our eldest son flourished in their pre-school program and we are very confident our baby starting day care will be extremely well looked after."
– Jacqueline Bury, Woodport parent
